work flo
I like to work with people who:
- Don't crowd the ball
- Thread their email
- Offer unsolicited advice
- Work complimentary to the group
- Are creative yet practical
- Avoid inefficiency
- Own their thoughts
- Polite, direct and open
- Avoid passive aggressive behavior.
- Trust
Email conduct.
- Email is a great way to thread ongoing collaboration. Leaves breadcrumbs.
- Email is not a substitute for face to face situations. For example,
when it's more efficient to deliberate or brainstorm in person.
- No flaming. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't say it
at all.
- Avoid essays and diatribes.
- Hold the rant.
- Humor is good, use emoticons when sarcastic.
- Thread your emails.
- Please respond to each 'subject' separately. Start a new subject if
needed.
